Join us October 21st to learn more about Strands of Hope, a community outreach partnership between Valley Oaks Health and The Strand. This event is focused on supporting individuals experiencing homelessness during the colder months by distributing handmade hats, scarves, earbands, and other winter essentials, and connecting them with primary care services.
Crafters of all skill levels are welcome to come together and and make hats, scarves, earbands, and other warm outerwear pieces. We have yarn, tools, and patterns, but feel free to bring your own! Pizza and cozy crafting vibes also provided.
