Emergency Opioid Training

Dear Community Partners,

The Drug-Free Coalition of Tippecanoe County will be hosting an Opioid Emergency Funding Training on April 14th from 9:30–10:30 AM. This time frame is for NEW agencies only.

Completion of this training allows your agency to apply for emergency/crisis funding through the opioid settlement funds when an urgent need arises for those directly or indirectly effected by OUD.

During the training, we will review:

  • What qualifies as an emergency or crisis request

  • How to complete the application process

  • Required documentation and next steps

Please note: Any individual who plans to submit an emergency funding application on behalf of their agency must attend this training.

If your agency has not previously completed this training and would like to participate, please reply to this email and include:

  • The name(s) of those attending

  • Whether you would prefer to attend in person at the Downtown Public Library or virtually

The final training format (in-person or virtual) will be determined based on responses.

If your agency has already completed this training in Quarter 1, Quarter 2, or both, no action is needed at this time. I will be reaching out soon with additional details.

Thank you for the work you do to support individuals and families in our community.
