Active Youth Citizens Tackling todays issues to solve tomorrows problems. AYC works to promote healthy lifestyles and prevent/reduce alchol and other drug use and abuse by providing positive alternative activities for youth in Tippecanoe County. Students in grades 9th thru 12th from local schools and churches are encouraged to join! AYC allows young adults the opportunity to be active in their community by promoting an alcohol and drug-free lifestyle and the opportunity to share their views and opinions through community meetings and events. Do you have alcohol, tobacco, or other drugs merchandise???If so, come to the Tippecanoe County Fairgrounds on Saturday, July 17th and Tuesday, July 20th from 3:00PM to 8:00PM to exchange that merchandise for a FREE t-shirt!
Environmental advertisements of alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs promote an unhealthy lifestyle for not only the youth in Tippecanoe County, but also the community members. In order to make Tippecanoe County drug-free, AYC and the Drug-Free Coalition of Tippecanoe County are sponoring the T-shirt Exchange Project. Youth members, ranging from Kindergarten to seniors in collage, can exchange their alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs merchandise for a free t-shirt from TJ Maxx, Follett's Bookstore, and Freckles Graphics.
There's no strings attached! You give us your alcohol, tobacco, or other drugs promoted merchandise and we will exchange it with a drug-free promoted t-shirt for you to keep!
